Mass Effect Andromeda is set 600 years beyond the events of the first Mass Effect trilogy of games. In ME:A, you take on the role of the protagonist Ryder and are leaving the Milky Way to lead humanity towards finding a new home in the Andromeda Galaxy. A whole new cast of Characters, Planets and Creatures await all powered by the vaunted Frostbite engine.

A notable entry in those descriptions is the confirmation of multiplayer. Furthermore there is a Collector's Edition that features either an RC or die cast version of the game's Nomad vehicle and a steelbook case for the game.
