Uncovering the Past is a Mission in Mass Effect Andromeda. Missions advance the main story, and flesh out the side content of the game as well as provide opportunities for rewards and exploration.

Walkthrough

 After complete the mission Remove the Heart, investigate the interior of the smaller kett base (On Voeld, Ja Niihk.)

 Enter the ice cave and clear the area.

 Find and rescue the captured Angara.

 Speak to the freed Angara.

 Go to the ice-covered doorway and scan the blockage.

 Clear the blast zone.

 Enter the chamber, interact with the strange machine inside.

 Chose what to do with the ancient AI.

 

 

 

Notes

  • Before blow up the ice wall, head to the small room in the northwest corner of the cave. There is an angaran artifact behind crates, part of mission Forgotten History.
  • No further consequences no matter what you chose to do with that AI.
