Task: Drone Recovery is a Mission in Mass Effect Andromeda. Missions advance the main story, and flesh out the side content of the game as well as provide opportunities for rewards and exploration.

Walkthrough

 There is a terminal you can interact with outside a building by Jacob Mittney in Prodromos. Read the "Lost Drones" message on the terminal near the stairs of the building by the Tempest. Mark the location coordinates of the malfunctioning drones with a beacon. 

 One can be found a cliff to the NE of Site 1: Promise. Scan it and then head up the hill and interact with it when you get the Place Beacon prompt. 

 Another can be found on a cliff north of the cave and the big Kett base. Scan it and place the beacon as you did with the first. 

 Another can be found in southern Presson Dunes near the mountains, a crashed ship is nearby. Head for the smoke from the ship and check the nearby cliff for the drone. Scan it and tag it!

 One can be found between some shoreline rocks on the north side of the lake. Scan it and tag it.

 One can be found on the outskirts of the map in the NW, all the way near the edge of the border. Scan it and tag it again!

 The last can be found south of Bain Massani's location in Presson Dunes by the Kett generators. Scan it for the final beacon.
