Something in the Water is a Mission in Mass Effect Andromeda. Missions advance the main story, and flesh out the side content of the game as well as provide opportunities for rewards and exploration.

Walkthrough
On Kadara，there is a settlement littered with dead angara. Investigate this place, you will find a datapad on a desk inside building. Listen to the three logs to get a clue.
Scan the filtration system on the first floor of the building on the left to get another clue. Find other two datapads and scan the angaran integrated tech node before leave.
Head to Charybdis Point and search for more evidence. Opening a crate will trigger a conversation.
Wipe out hostiles.
